Golden Mandate Movement

Privacy notice

How we use your details

Draft for GMM's review — have it checked before launch. Last updated: [date].

The Golden Mandate Movement ("GMM", "we") respects your privacy and processes personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

What we collect

When you join the Movement or register for an event, we collect your name, phone number, LGA, and, if you choose to give them, your ward, polling unit, whether you have collected your PVC, how you would like to help, and the number of people coming with you to an event.

Why we collect it

  • To connect you with your ward and LGA team and keep you informed about the Movement.
  • To plan events, including transport and seating.
  • To organise volunteers and polling agents for elections.

We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time.

Who can see it

Only authorised GMM officials can see your details: the district executive and the coordinator for your LGA. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else, except where the law requires it. Our website and database are hosted by Cloudflare, which processes the data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

[GMM to confirm — suggested: until you ask us to delete it, or 12 months after the 2027 general elections, whichever comes first.]

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or to stop hearing from us. Contact us at [Email] or [Phone], or write to Ati Annang International Secretariat, Library Avenue, Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State.
